WHAT THE HOOMANS SAY

Hobbes

Amanda has been an absolute lifesaver for our family.  Hobbes had a rough start in life.  He came to us as an unsocialized 6-month-old Vizsla pup.  He was afraid of everything...most people, new sounds, traffic, going for walks, being alone...everything.  Amanda can read his body language and has an intuitive sense of what he needs/is ready for.  She does daycare pick-ups and drop-offs, overnights in our home,  brings her own dog on walks (because Hobbes likes to walk in packs), and stays with him during the day to help us manage his separation anxiety.  It is because of Amanda's commitment to regular positive reinforcement training that Hobbes has a repertoire of 50+ commands.  He has come a long way since his arrival, and we could not have done it without Amanda.  We cannot recommend her more highly.

Cleo

My dog, Cleo, is a pretty nervous girl and Amanda has been great for her! Amanda was really patient and skilled in getting Cleo to warm up to her and now Cleo loves her. Amanda is great about giving me updates and letting me know what's going on when I'm at work. Recently, I asked Amanda to stay with Cleo for the day/night while I was out of town. Cleo did great and was happy to have her friend staying with her (she likes Amanda wayyyy more than my brother, ha!)

Amanda is always super flexible, communicative and has done an amazing job making Cleo feel comfortable and happy. I highly recommend her!

Tobin

"I have been using Amanda to care for my dog Tobin for about a year now. I trust Amanda completely and know that I can rely on her. My dog is definitely more sensitive and doesn't just automatically get along with anyone. With Amanda, there were no issues and from the "check in" pictures she sends, I can see he is really comfortable with her."

Moose

"Amanda is everything we could have hoped for in a trainer for Moose. She is compassionate, understanding, and knowledgeable for both the hooman and pup student. We moved to Colorado when Moose was just under 1 year and while we trained his “basics” we were really struggling on leash walks. As a golden retriever, Moose wants to say hello to every person and chase every squirrel he sees. Amanda has helped us both learn how to train and understand our reactive fur dude. Aside from leash work, Amanda has also given us a bounty of integral training games to play with Moose. Through all these tools Moose stays challenged and mentally stimulated. We look forward to future sessions with Amanda and would recommended her to anyone looking for positive reinforcement training!  comfortable with her."

Chance

Amanda is an extremely talented dog trainer. We adopted Luna at a year old, and to say she was energetic is an understatement. Amanda has taught both Luna and her humans so much about impulse control and positive behavior reinforcement. Amanda is great at training alongside my husband and I so she can explain the "why" behind what she does. This in turn makes my husband and I more confident dog parents! we know Luna is happier and healthier because of Amanda. Plus, I love that Amanda is always just a phone call away when other behavior needs come up. She is always flexible and has had a solution for all of Luna's needs. Amanda is a lifesaver if you have a dog, especially a dog who needs a little extra love and support.

Amanda is incredibly talented when it comes to training dogs. She's taught me so much about how to handle my insecure rescue pup, Chance. She's also very reliable and extremely trustworthy. She worked with us on training and stayed overnight while we were away for several nights. She was so great with our two dogs that it made it so easy to come back home knowing that they were so well taken care of, but also she gave them so much attention that they didn't go completely bonkers when we came home so the transition was really smooth. I definitely recommend Amanda for your pups!! Chance and Buddha absolutely love her and I can't say enough great things .

Amanda was an integral part of our "team" with our new rescue Boxer Sydney. She was confident and knowledgeable about how to approach certain behaviors Sydney was struggling with. We trusted Amanda to tend to Sydney's needs through therapeutic training walks that helped her gain confidence on her leash and in the home. We would highly recommend Amanda for your training and care needs for your fur baby!
